PURCHASES BEING DOUBLE DEDUCTING

Good Day

My wife has an account over wich i have power of attorney.

When she makes purchases on her debit card or ternasfers the money is then deducted form her avaialable balance. However a few days later when the slip is banked by the retaikler the deduction then comes off her avaialable balance as well.

She has the savings pocket and oftern transfers funds between the two accounts.

When transferring an amount eg R500 she will never get the full amopunt as previous amnounts are being deducted.

this happens for all transactions and we are now very weary of how mucgh money she has actually been robbed of in the past year due to this.

It is most annoying and backward that an institution like fnb who alioms to be savvy and the best online bank capability that we are having this sort of problem.

We recently transfered R 500.00 into her account from the savings pocket and put R 200 petrol in at the garage .the balance should have been R300 instead it was R98.00. WE STILL HAVE NO IDEA WHERE THE DIFFERENCE WENT.

When we went to the branch they were not able to explain to us where the funds were and have still not gotten back to us in this regard.
