I was just on the phone with one of the consultants to get my settlement amounts as i wanna close the account, he gave me the settlement figures, as i was retrenched and the insurance has been paying my account, i just got a job and wanna settle my debt, i asked for the early settlement discount, he said he cant give me, and i asked if there is someone i can explain my situation, he bluntly told me there is no one, he is the person whom i can speak to and he cant offer me any discount as there is nothing wrong with my account, if i want i can escalate to Hello Peter, Seriously... is this what i have to do to get things sorted with African Bank as this is not the first time, all i want is to settle my debt considering i was retrenched, i just want to start my new job with no debt, is it a wrong thing to wanna pay off debt before maturity???
