FNB NOT TRUE TO THEIR WORD - ADVERTISING

I recently (FEB 2013) opened an FNB bank account after hearing &seeing so many adverts of how much FNB has to offer their clients. When I opened my account at Clearwater Branch I was told that they could offer me a Smart account but I CAN upgrade to a cheque after my salary has been paid into my Smart account for at least 3 months. When I enquired about the upgrade at the Westgate Branch a few days ago I was told that I don't qualify due some "HIGH RISK" issues on my side, but an agent or consultant from (Clearwater) would call me to explain/clairfy this. I am still waiting...

I logged a call online for a quote on life cover & received a call from an agent a few hours later. She asked me a few questions, offered me a premium, then asked me on which date I my first premium should be dedited, I confirmed the date and she said she only needed to ask me a few more questions but would need me be to as open, honest & truthful as I can be, which I was. But after I was honest, open & trufhful, my application was declined due to my "HEALTH" & current medication I am on. Why did she not give me the terms and conditions before giving me the premium?

I now regret moving over to FNB!!
