I was involved in a minor motor accident on the 29th July 2013 on the M1. I am insured with MiWay. The response the accident scene was exceptional, my car was towed to an assessment centre. A rental car was arranged for me. I took out the longest possible contract on rental cars (30days). On the 26 August I received an sms from Avis informing me to return the car rental back. I called MiWay to enquire as to how far was my car repairs. It was only then that an authorization was sought to repair my car. I am wondering y did they take so long 30 days, and y give a courtesy car and have it taken back way before the repairs on the car are done. I thought the car rental was to afford one a piece of mind in order not to disrupt the way of living whilst the car is in for repairs. I have called MiWay countless times, I have been to their offices a number of times to enquire on an extension for the rental car. I keep on getting a story, but the story does not end with me getting the response needed. Their service thus far, has left a question mark. Trying to get hold of the manager, Sonia Grobler has proven impossible. The President is more accessible than her.
