FNB exchange service disaste

I submitted a request to transfer $7 650.00 on Friday the 23rd of August. This transaction (if attended to the day I submitted it) would have cost me a total of R77 000.00)

They phoned me today (the 28th! 5 days later!) And asked if they may proceed with the transfer and told me it was going to cost me a full R81 000.00!

Because of their complete lack of interest in their clients needs, it has cost me R4 000.00! It is now 5:15pm and the amount has not come off my account which, I presume, means it will cost me even more tomorrow.

I am furious as that was money that I needed to study. :/

If I can advise anyone, don't use FNB for your forex needs. if you want to transfer money, buy travellers cheques or get a world travel card, rather use another bank!
