Was in a accident on the 27th of July. Miway client was guilty and on his statements and said I was guilty after everything shows on black & white that he is guilty. Apparently the rules of the road has changed and drivers dont have to stop at stopstreets anymore and drivers on lanes with no stopstreets must stop for drivers skipping stopstreets. This is ridiculous. After submitting all my docs for the claim I was told I was guilty and Miway wont pay out. Their client clearly provided false information to have his vehicle repaired by his insurance and now I am left with nothing but I have contacted the Ombudsman as this is a valid claim and their client has so this will go to court if it has to as I have a witness that saw the accident and can prove he never even tried to stop at the stopstreet. This is how corrupt the system is. The guilty one gets away and his car repaired and the innocent person sits with nothing. I just hope for their clients sake he knows it is a criminal offence to provide false statements and is punishable. Miway needs to step up and stop denying that their client was guilty and I was not. I will not leave it here. I will contact Miway's CEO if I need to.
