So I decide to buy a property on MYROOF on auction. I get awarded the property and make the required deposit. Submit an application to standardbank, and my application goes well. I get called every 2 days and submit all the forms as what they require. I call them today, and they tell me that the application will not proceed due to the fact that the assessor cannot assess the property. Needless to say that the property is owned by Standard Bank.
This only means that I can default on my homeloan, and stay in my house for free, due to the fact that Standard Bank cannot assess the property they will not be able to sell it on.
