MIBFA
Unpaid Provident Fund - Kapetla Training & Investm

My brother in law worked for Kapetla Training & Investments for 4 years in Port Elizabeth.

The company closed down in June 2012. His colleaques were paid in last year, but he is still waiting since then. In June he was told they need documentation which he provided in July 2013. Since then, he was told he had to wait 14 days and he must go to the bank as it has been paid into the bank.

We have been phoning with no avail. The latest was the money was paid into the wrong FNB account, but he has a Standard Bank account. These telephone numbers you battle to get through namely 011 -870 2000, 011 2270300 and 086 010 2544. He received a letter dated 11 January 2013 which look very unprofessional, at he bottom of the page the directors and company details have been closed with a white line or paper.

Why does it take so long for a provident fund to pay out. This man is unemployed since June 2012 and has no support. How can a company pay the money in a wrong account and they have all the bank statements and correct Std Bank acc details? This man is suffering. Please help!!!
