Today at 7:30 am my car failed to start
Being comprehensively covered with insurance, believed this is not a problem and call my broker to obtain assistance from Mutual and Federal to resolve the issue. 2 hours later, it is discovered that even though i have Home and Road side assist this DOES NOT COVER CAR ISSUES AT HOME! I need to pay the assistance people R 350.00 cash to obtain assistance?
My husband has been with Mutual and Federal for a few years now, and convinced me to leave Outsurance to consolidate our financials. Outsurance confirms that this service is free for the first hour of assistance, there after a fee is applicable. All I need is a jump start! I had been with Outsurance for many years and never got this kind of terrible service.
My broker whom herself is shocked at discovering this, is on her way personally to give me the jump start i need to enable me to drop off my 11 month baby and go to work.
This is pathetic! I will be leaving Mutual and Federal and will personally convince anybody with them to do the same. Surely being comprehensively covered for Home and Vehicle including Road and Home assist, what other grey area's is there in their contracts?
