It was with disappointment that I received an email from Mutual and Federal indicating that they would only settle 50% for my loss. I approached the ombudsman for assistance and only through my correspondence with them that I came to realise that Mutual and Federal have done this out of GOODWILL. I am not their client and therefore would have to accept what was offered.
Although I feel disappointed regarding the matter, I must thank Mutual and Federal that they were prepared to meet me half way. I will submit the settlement documents in due course.
