Who is looking after my interests??

Good day,

Wow what a joke Mutual and Federal insurance is. My home have been burgled on the night of 26 December 2013. Since my personal space have been invaded by criminals I had to go out and get replacement quotes as soon as possible so that the insurer can help me get my home back to normal, What a joke that was. It took Mutual and Federal more than a week to appoint a assessor. After the assessor visited my home and assessed the situation, he compiled a report and sent it to my insurance brokers, who by the way is also not helpful at all. For the whole of last week I have been communicating with the broker via email since they are very quick to change a story. Up and down emails went daily and to date I have had no concrete feedback as to what is going on with my claim. The broker said "I" must call Mutual and Federal, Mutual and Federal said I must call the assessor and the assessor doesn't know what the Mutual and Federal is talking about. The only individual giving me some sort of feedback or returning my calls is the assessor. Today is 27 Jan 2014 and to date I still do not know what is happening with my claim. This is unbelievable, who is looking after my interest?
