A consultant called me when my cellphone contract had expired saying he is representing Vodacom and I renewed the contract to a cheaper handset. What the consultant did was to take insurance on my behalf and my account was billed for a period of over a year. When I requested recordings of the said contract whereby I took the insurance none was provided and this looks like one of the biggest to can happen to anyone as I am now struggling to get a refund for all the monies owed to me. I still don't understand why they tell people that calls are recorded but they fail to provide such recordings.
