In June 2012, while considering a property purchase, I requested an insurance quote from A&G. I was offered further information (regarding fixing the premium price) to be emailed to me, and I accepted the info stating "as long as I'm not tied to anything". Despite me clearly stating that I needed a quote only, A&G initiated contract 557139053 without my consent. When I realised the error in May/June 2013 I cancelled the contract due to the fact that absolutely no insurable interest exists on this contract, and requested a refund of all monies paid by myself, amounting to R5688.20. On or around 10 June I received the phone conversations pertaining to the contract, which I have reviewed.
To date, absolutely no action has been taken and no feedback has been given; every time I phone in (weekly since June) I am told that Mrs Kenny cannot locate the recordings. Seeing as I have copies of the recordings in my possession, this is obviously and I can only assume that A&G is attempting to avoid returning to me my money.
