I am terribly upset regarding the poor service I have received in order to get a refund of MY MONEY! I over paid on my Ackermans account and recently requested a refund of R1700 odd and was surprised when I INITIALLY received a welcomed response of "It'll take 24 - 48 hours to be in your account". Needless to say this DID NOT HAPPEN. In actual fact they DEBITED my account instead of credited. When I brought this to their attention, I was told now i'll have to wait. This is not my up... IT IS YOURS!! Why do I have to be punished?!?!?! If I don't follow up and request info, I will simply be ignored. When I asked Lance to speak to his manager, he flat out REFUSED!! He needs training on how to deal with customers and I want this sorted out asap.
I have all the correspondence with regards to this matter and will not hesitate to contact my lawyers if I do not receive a satisfactory response before close of business tomorrow. I am shocked at the lack of service and effort of Nedbank's behalf. You are a leading bank in SA... but this is horrendous.
