Break inn at Breaker ETANA refuting claim

I agree. i received very unprofessional service from Etana. They sent me from pillar to post and i had to keep calling them for Feedback only for them to reject my claim. We stayed at Breakers Resort from the 22/06/2013 and on the first evening on the morning of the 23rd at 3am, intruders broke into our room and lots of our valuables thus endangering our lives as well. The Resort didn't even the decency to apologize to us and we had to deal with the Insurance Etana and their Broker. Etana refuted our claim and they are refusing to pay us out as they say the resort was not negligent and they are not liable as we signed an indemnity. The intruders gained access from our balcony which is on the 4th floor. the room and door was securely locked but they managed to derail the sliding door off the Hinges. Yet according to the assessor this is not deemed negligent on the resorts side. We have been battling with the resort the insurers and the broker and the service we received from all 3 parties is nothing short of appalling. I advise every1 to refrain from staying at Breakers Resort and do not do business with Etana as they find excuses not to pay but make you wait forever.
