We were on vacation. Checked in at Breakers on the 22-06-2013. In the early hours of the morning of the 23-06-2013 while we were asleep 2 intruders broke into our room and lots of our valuables. We tried to claim from breakers resort insurance Etana, as we are not insured but they are refusing to pay us as the assessor Mark said there was no negligence on the part of the Resort. We have not even received an apology letter from the resort for what happened and what we had to go through. They have been passing the buck between the insurance and the brokers and refuse to accept accountability for what has happened. The service we have been receiving between the 3 parties is completely unprofessional. We have wasted so much of our time and so much of our valuables have been lost only for the insurance to come back and say they will not pay us out as we signed an indemnity. Why make us wait so long for them to investigate the whole matter when the reason they are declining the claim is due to an indemnity. If this was the reason in the first place why did we have to waste our time, our money and in the interim we were so inconvenienced. This matter will not be left at this.
