The NBC Holdings is not honouring the claim for the Funeral Insurance policy for Maki Ruth Sekobela who deceased and was a member under Corinthians Apostolic church in SA.
My grandmother passed away on Saturday morning of the 3rd. she had a funeral policy with NBC Holdings were she paid R55 monthly. In their contract it states that if a client submits all of the relevant documents they will pay-out in 48 hours of the claim.
The documents were sent on the 7th of August around 13h00 and We were told to expect the money on Monday the 12th as Friday was a holiday.
On Monday there was no money in the account. I spoke to Milicent Nene and she told me that she never saw the papers. She asked me which fax number I used and i told her (086067605995) which was correct. She now said that I should send them again which we will still wait for 48 hours again. We faxed the papers to them using the same fax nr and phoned later to find out if they received it or not. she confirmed it. We waited the 15th and 16th and there was nothing. i called again and Nonhlanhla told me Friday or Saturday and the money is still not paid and it is the 19th.
