I applied for a student account in 2010. February 2012 the account was moved to a silver check account, without my knowledge, after I gave proof that I am still a student. Since then I have constantly payed banking fees in the excess of R400 despite numerous visits and requests to fix the problem. Its almost a year now whilst ABSA continues to deduct outrageous monthly fees. As my only source of income is a bursary from which I have to pay rent and buy food, ABSA is physically taking food off my table. I have no more patience left.
