FAILURE TO HONOUR INSURANCE POLICY

During February 2013 I suffered a loss of around R500K in an armed. The policy is a very expensive one providing for "replacement value". ABSA first denied liability and then asked me to prove ownership and replacement values, which I did. On 25 July 2013 they offered R51K without any explanation, and now they stonewall me.

On 12 July 2013 items totaling R22K was out of my car at a service station. The security footage clearly shows frame by frame how I locked the car and tested the lock, whereafter the used an electronic device to open the car. ABSA refuses to watch the footage, and also refuses to pay on the basis that there was no forced entry.
