For the last 3 months, all of a sudden I am getting charged for all sorts of "extras" that never happened before. My credit card have a limit of R23 800, and I stick to this limit, now all of a sudden FNB has decided to charge me for various "extras", like overlimit fees. Since when did I gave them permission to charge me R230 to go "over limits"? To give an example, I paid R4000 into my cc, I spend most of it via store swipes, and the bit that was left I withdrew, leaving me less than R10 in the cc, then FNB started to take "delayed" transactions of, after they deducted the money already, showed under "future payments", so all of a sudden I am in a minus R1500, then all they just started deducting "overlimit fees", pushing me even further in a minus on my account. Something changed on FNB side, as this only started happening the last 3 months or so. And to add insult to injury I opened a business account with them a month ago, I thought they where the best bank out there. I was so wrong. They even cheated me out of a installment last month, and after informing them, they only paid halve of the insurance claim amount instead of the minimum amount due, as set out in their policy..!!
