My car blew top gasket while with the insurance co

My car went in for hail damage repairs in January 2013, the car was gone for 5 months.
When it came back the tired were worn out, kilometers unaccounted for and it blew the top gasket.
Insurance company is refusing to pay for the damages saying it was wear and tear.
My car is a Peugeot 207.
They gave my case to the one assessors who told me in the beginning that I was just wasting his time, I was not happy with his conduct and, when he gave me feedback with the report I requested a second opinion, 1st for women then allocated my file to his colleague, to me the two seemed very close, the report would not have been any different because it was basically done by the same office, not objective.
The insurance company has now decided they won't pay any damages and I feel cheated and robbed.
They are saying it is unfortunate that the car was gone for 5 months; they are not taking responsibility to what happened during those months. They are not professional and condescending when they call to gloat about that, hence I feel that the company belongs to these 2 individuals.
i thought first for women was a reputable company but they treating me like it belongs to the 2 assessors.
