Debit account without authority

I have a life cover with old mutual, and was called by a Virgin Active agent in Paarl, telling me that i can come and join again, they have a special with old mutual and virgin active, knowingly that I still owe Virgin Active. After going through the whole process, he told me that my account is now active and I can start to gym, then all of a sudden a day or two later I was told, that because I still owe them I have to pay the outstanding amount, now what is happening, they started deducting from my bank account the monthly fees without getting my permission to do so, My account is a minus because of them deducting, and they still keep on deducting, and my account keep on being in the Minus. How is going to refund the bank charges back to me.
