Unfair FICA requirements to open account

I applied online for a sanlam liquid savings account for my husband and myself. He sent FICA proof of residence but now Sanlam insists that he uses another account to FICA himself as he cannot use the same account that he used for me for himself. What nonsense! We reside in the same house. Now he needs to go through the inconvenience of changing his postal address with another account to his home address and wait a month to receive that statement at home so he can send it in to open a sanlam liquid account. Meanwhile my account was approved with HIS water and electricy account.

Their system is pathetic and therefore I wish to CANCEL my sanlam liquid savings account. It was opened today online but I am not interested in having anything to do with Sanlam if you can approve mine but my husband needs to climb a mountain before you are willing to open the same account for him.

Other institutions offer similar packages and we will gladly open a savings account elsewhere. Sanlam can cancel both our applications as it seems that you do not need anymore new clients if you have to inconvenience a customer to open an account.
