I applied for a loan through Sanlam. I was contacted last week and was pre-approved
I send all my documentation and was told my loan is for final assessment. This moring a lady form Sanlam phoned me to tell me my loan was declined because of my joint account. I also provided a letter from Absa to state that I have full power of attorney on this account. It also shows clearly my salaries that is paid to me on this account. My employer also stated on my letter of employment that my salaries is paid into this account.
I I did not need a loan I wouldn't apply for one at Sanlam. How can Sanlam treat customers like this?? Cleary my documentation that I provided is correct and shows my salary payments.
