VERY UNHAPPY EX-CLIENT

Hello Peter

I took a loan of R 10, 000.00 with African Bank in February 2010. They were debiting their money until I cancelled the debit order and I informed them about it, so I started paying the money at Furnisher City in Boksburg Eastrand Mall everymonth. Everything went well until I went and asked for a settlement amount, of which they told me that it was R 1, 887.09. I paid the money in full on 07/12/2012 and thought I was done with them. To my suprise I started receiving calls from them in July 2013 saying that I am owing the bank and when I asked what was it for, they said it was interest that started accumulating on the 14/12/2012 after I had settled the amount. That simple means someone did not do his/her job properly and now I have to suffer for that. I believe I am not the only person this has happened to, many people end up paying their hard earned money for what they do not know or getting blacklisted! I have proof of the payment that I made with the balance of R0.00. What is it hat they want from me? Why did they keep quiet for 7 months if they knew that I was owing them?
I am very disappointed and regret ever doing business with them.
