Santam now repudiated my claim, simply because the car was driven after I hit the dog, yes I did drive it as the car did not give any warning, when it gave the warning it was already late. That is what the Hyundai expets told me after assessing the car, they also mentioned it is almost not 100% sure as to what cud have cause the engine damage. Santam then got the assessors a long time ago to go an assess and give a report. Now the assessor was at Hyundai yesterday wanting the service manager to change the report and say the car was driven, why? I mean hiting a dog is not the same as a person where you have to stop and get police involved, it was dark on the N1, I couldnt just stop. My car cud start when they towed it because the Alfa trio panelbeater allowed me to reverse it so that he cud tow. But after they replaced the radiator they said the car cud not start, so who and what cud have happen in the 32 days of having my car is unknown. How come only after 32 days they picked the engine problem, why didn't they pick it up when they did the 1st diagnose and qouting my insurer? The costs are R31 000 for the engine.
