I recently contacted ABSA Insurance to update my Home Owners Policy. Initial attempts to get hold of the right department telephonically resulted in nothing more than frustration due to the fact that several numbers are inoperative, unable to connect or gets disconnected after an extended wait.
After several attempts I finally got through to an agent that advised me no changes can be made over the phone and that an email should be sent. I duly complied and sent the request through, with nothing but stone cold silence as the reply.
Where is the urgency or customer focus when communication is needed???
