Trying to get Nedlife to respond is like trying to pull teeth. I tried to increase my premiums early this year from within a Nedbank branch but was told to phone their call centre or customer service to do that. I did and was told by a very tired sounding agent that I had to write a letter and fax it to them with my request. I did, nothing happened and not even a response that they received my request. I wrote again and faxed the request, nothing happened the premiums are still the same. I phoned after faxing for the 3rd time and was told there was nothing on their side. I gave up.

I should have suspected this when I signed up. I told their agent I wanted my premiums to be R500 per month. We sealed the deal knowing my premiums will be that amount. Then a day later he called me to confirm the R500 but to my surprise the premiums were R100. I thought it would be easy to just go back and increase the premiums. I was wrong. They are useless.
