Just want to warn people about the Nedbank Autobank at Builders' Warehouse in Access Park on Buffelsfontein Road. I went there to check my balance and the siren was going on the machine - a gentleman said he thought it was the water that was dripping off the roof from the recent rain. So I checked my balance at ABSA instead. I then went into Builders' Warehouse to find my family, we came out and the Nedbank machine was silent and working (supposedly) so I inserted my card and tried to draw out R250 - as soon as I did this the siren came on again - I got a fright and cancelled the transaction so as not to lose my card. I then went to the Nedbank at Emerald Hill, withdrew R250 there which I received and noticed that my balance was now R250 less than it should be.
I had been debited for the amount at Builders' Warehouse. We then went to the bank at Walmer Park and that was not very helpful as I had no proof that I did not receive the cash at the first autobank - so... what do I do now??
