I was retrenched in mid 2012. I am 48 years old. Req frm AG some guidelines for their Pension Preservation Fund.
Sent me a one page E-MAIL about preservation, tax benefits and withdrawal.
I XFERED MY FUNDS TO THEM TO BE HELD IN A FUND TILL I MAKE UP MY MIND AS WHAT TO DO WITH IT. I FURTHER SENT THEM INSTRUCTIONS WITH WAS NOT CARRIERD OUT. MY INVESTMENT HAS NOT GROWN.
I am NOW out of funds to pay for my medical aid. I take chronic medication for Diabetes and my spouse for High Blood Pressure. Allan Gray says, according to the law, they cannot return my funds to me till I reach retirement age.
I do not qualify for free treatment in a govt hospital or any other free social services because of this investment.
Allan Gray now says that I must declare myself unfit to work which I am not prepared to do. I have provided them with blood reports and reports from my specialist physician, which I had to pay for... and the need to have medical aid and takes daily meds.
They now want another report form another specialist at my cost. they have dragged this till it has now reached a critical stage.
DUMB... I HAVE NOT PAID FOR MEDICAL AID AND AM NOW NOT TAKING ANY MEDS.
