A few months back I joined Essential Med, I paid my first month's premium and after finding out that Essential Med is limited as to what procedures/doctors it covers (my fault, didn't do my homework) I decided to cancel my policy later on in the same month. After cancelling my policy on line as per their procedure as well as sending an Email to Elize van der Merwe (with no response) letting them know that I was cancelling my policy. I am still getting SMS's to make payment. Ref# 1503702
