ABSA idirect refusing to pay

I now realize that i might have made the biggest mistake that is gonna cost me. I received a call from an ABSA consultant saying they will offer me cheaper premiums for my motor insurance. after much persuasion i agreed to switch to ABSA on the 28th February 2013. I had a accident on the 18th June and i tried claiming and im told i gave them false information and they said they gave me special rates because i was insured for more than 5 years. The consultant asked if i had uninterrupted cover for more than 3 years not 5. they say i have to pay them back??? i requested my recording from them and im still waiting. I regret the day i switched to ABSA. during our safety meeting at work i spoke to my colleagues about how ABSA is treating me. what if my car had been??? none of my family members, friends and colleagues will take the ABSA insurance. i had to learn the hard way and none of the information they are requesting now was ever requested when i was taking out the insurance. i hope i will never have to deal with ABSA anymore and i was asked to switch to another bank for months but at least now ive got enough motivation to move all my accounts to a bank that cares
