In 2008 August, i got a call from one of ABSA consultant and i was offered an accidental Policy cover and i took it.
When i took it i thought it covers for any kind of accident..but last month (June 2013) i phoned in just to check if everything is still ok and i wanted a break down of what the Policy covers and i was told for the first time that it can only pays out if i were to die with car accident and that was a shock to me. i then ask if its possible to substitute it with another one and i was told No. as you know i never heard of a person getting compensation for cancelling policy... i said they must cancel it cause. its a waste to pay R124.00 each month, its like ABSA is a charity. i lost close to R7000.00 in the past 5 year bacause, it was not explained to me that its only covers or can only pay out if i were to be involve in an accident nothing else... since i dont think i will get my money or compensated... i just want Absa to be aware that it consultant dont explain much when offer people policies over the phone... i want my Money though
