Dealing with Clint Harrison a Breath of fresh ai

In short, in June 2013, 2 fixed deposits for our 2 daugters matured. We then decided to invest in ABSA unit trusts. I was not looking forward to the process of getting this done. The ABSA branch Monumentpark, Pretoria, offered no help at all. That branch is terrible. I crinch every time I have to set foot in that branch. Every one working there seem to hate their job.

I then looked on the web who to contact, email the Unit Trust departement at ABSA, and get a reply from Clint Harrison, Investment Support Consultant.

It was absolutely wonderful to deal with Clint. He replied promptly and quickly, and even if things took time let me know where things stand. There were a few hiccups and one problem was that an amount was incorrectly debited on one investment. Clint himself raised the error and made sure this amount was credited.

The best of Clint was that I could mail him directly with any questions or concerns and actually got a human answering me back. I dread call centres of gemeral query email boxes where you get a reference nr and no reply. This was quite a breath of fresh air, and I want to thank Clint for his assistance.
