I contacted FNB on Monday (29 July 2013) to get a quote on a fixed rate for my home loan. I dialled the 087 730 1144 number as displayed on the contact page of the site. They then put me through to 087 730 1100 from where I was put through to 0860 33 44 55 from where I was put through to 087 730 1155. This took me 18 minutes. On this last number they wanted to put me through to 087 730 1144 *again*. So I mentioned that I have been on the line for 18 minutes and that I am on my way to do a full circle.
So they decided to help me. However, there was some issue and after ~30min (total) on the phone hey said they would call me back with the quote. Today is 1 Aug 2013 and I have heard nothing.
The FNB service does not quite gel with the hip, happening, and innovative bank that they advertise.
