ABSA processed un-authorised debit

On 6th June 2013 ABSA debited my account for R2000, After enquiring at the Fourways branch they indicated that a journal was done and that they will follow up and get back to me. Needless to say no feedback on where the money went to and why my account was debited, without authorisation.

On 28th July 2013 a further amount of R5000 was debited. I called the ABSA enquiries 0860008600 and was informed that I must go to the branch and they will reverse the transaction. I went to the branch this morning and I was informed that they will look into the matter and will give feedback. Seemingly they cannot get hold of their collections department - 012 3389500.

My query is why are these amounts taken and for what, and furthermore there has been no contact with me to settle any account. Even after going into the ABSA branch twice, still no explanation.
