Shocking New Home Loan Service

Up until now i thought that Standard Bank was really a great service provider with no issues experienced on Prestige Account, Titanium Card, Bond, ASI and SBG Share profile, until i did i applied for New Home Loan... I fully understand why people use bond originators, but thought that your bank would look after you as they have in excess of 20 years of history and our current bond...
There were one or two hiccups in the beginning with some info that wasn't completed however these were quickly resolved. been 15 working days to day since i started the process, had to phone the call centre appox 6-10 times following up on what stage the application was, no one seemed to be driving this internally, no feedback or correspondence on progress etc. What's worse is that in lodged a formal complaint with the relevant standard bank department 5 working days ago and guess what no response of feedback!!
Have been through the same process with my wife's bank, FNB. Continual feedback via e-mail been a pleasure from beginning and received approval and first rate indication yesterday after 11 working days!! I could be banking with "Steve's" bank, maybe time to test the waters elsewhere.?...
