On the 16th of July I settled my loan account and I have a receipt indicating that I settled the account and its closed but was told when I have a chance I must come back to check if the account was indeed closed which I didn't understand. And never went in to check seeing that I have a signed document saying I have settled and the account is closed. Well to my surprise this morning when I check my bank statement the debit order went through I take my lunch time hour and drive to the bank to ask for a refund since the loan account is closed to my surprise I'm told this account was not closed the settlement amount wasn't paid in but I have the receipt saying I did then I ask to talk to the manager demanding an explanation only to be told "what will the manager do" by Mingie and she never called the manager my request was ignored. Seeing that Phindi was incompetent and didn't know how to close and settle an account I was told I'm partly to blame cause I didn't come back to verify that it was closed. So only today my account was closed and the interest charged the last 2 weeks I had to pay I just want my R1115.
