I applied for a homeloan at Northmead. After many issues & almost a month my finance was granted in my personal capacity even though I am married in COP. The bank was aware of this and advised that it is not a problem. The condition of my bond being registered was that my existing property be sold first. I did comply. I was then told that the bond cannot be registered in my name only and has to reflect my spouses details too. I contacted the bank who said the documents will be amended. The bank has since withdrawn their offer of finance. This wasn't just an AIP but the final quote that I signed & was told that this couldn't be withdrawn. My house is sold & I am now homeless. I can't get any answers to my questions. Why was the bond granted in the 1st place? Why was the condition imposed? Who is responsible for this? What am I suppose to do now? I am being shoved from pillar to post with no solution? Management is just not contactable or just won't respond.
