This is a message to the public making use of ABSA insurance. Change your insurance company immediately. ABSA is only interested taking your money, but as soon as you have a claim - no outcome.
About 5 months ago, during a big storm in Cape Town, our home got water damaged. The claim was minimal. ABSA took four months to act and during this period, another storm hit causing more damage. Another assessor was send together with a new contractor. Another month has gone and still no action. It is so frustrating working with such an unprofessional company and advice all ABSA insurance policy holders to move to other providers. That is what I'm doing. The following people at ABSA are all talk, and no action. They are suppose to be the team leaders and decision makers.
