I took out a injury claim from AIG with Standard Bank regarding broken bones. I fell of the stairs in my house on 18 May 2013 this was a Friday night, I went to the hospital where the doctor sent me for X-Ray's. After the X-Ray the doctor told me that my ankle were broken. I had to see Dr. Du Plesis the Orthopaedic on the Monday. I had to wait another week with the cast and go for X-Ray's again, On 29 May 2013 I submitted the claim form via e-mail. I did not hear from AIG. I phoned on 27 June 2013 the person at AIG said it will take 3 - 5 working days. I did not heat any thing from AIG. I phoned again on 12 July 2013 and spoke to Geovani, he told me they are waiting for the policy wording which I then e-mailed to them he gave me a claim no. 770386, I gave them a week to get back to me, once more no reply from AIG. I phoned again on 18 July 2013, this time I spoke to Cherry she gave me a case no. 419965 I have given the till Monday 22 July to give me some feed back today is the 24 July 2013 Wednesday and once again hve not heard from AIG.
