Good day. I would like to complain about the number of fees I have paid to Momentum so far. Some of which were not explained to me from the beginning. I joined multiply cheaply, without any hassle. To obtain the 60 percent gym discount, I paid R50 card fee, and R645 initiation fee. I was then told I can get national membership also at reduced rate, so I opted for that. They mentioned no charge for changing options. I now would like to downgrade the contract to single club membership - R170 fee! I have already paid over R800 in fees now. I was then told by the fitness admin. I can get 20 "up to" 20 perc off if I take a health assessment. Depending on results, get up to 20 perc off on a sliding scale with guaranteed benefits if health is "excellent". My results were "good" but now they say I can not get any discount, as my physical fitness was not level 4 or 5. It was wrongfully explained to me. I was guaranteed a part of the 20 percent! What a waste of money - I should get the assessment value back as it was not correctly explained to me! And as for the additional R170 you want??? You want to top fees now and get it over R1000!? This is a huge waste of money (excl the 150pm)
