I called in to the call centre around the 15th - 18th of June to change debit order details since I was switching jobs. The only change I requested was for the date to be changed from the 20th to the last day of the month. However to my surprise, the July debit order recurred on the 20th and returned unpaid. This is obviously very bad from an cheque account maintenance point of view and will impact on my credit record with my current bank.
I am upset as the change was communicated in June already yet the debit order continued as before.
What is the point of the call centre if changes requested are not actioned?
I kindly request written proof and commitment that the requested change will be actioned as per instruction.
