I received a letter from mutual and federal last week - infact on thurday containing a 30 days notice of cancelation with my last day of cover being 31 July 2013.
I am highly upset as when I wanted to move over to first for women, mutual and federal gave me a diffilcut time and reduced my premium for me to stay.
Now i am faced with having 9 days to find alternate cover. The reasons for cancelation are also not clear.
I had to contact my financial advisor who had also just received the letter - what is this all about and what will happen to my excess claim that I am still waiting for?
Extremely unprofessional and no clear communication. The decent thing would be for someone to have at least called me to let me know what was going on...
