I had money transferred into my account which was done on Saturday. I went into the bank this morning to access the money and was told that the money needs to stay in my bank acoount for a minimum of 7 day. Was told that they needed to confirm where the money comes from if its not from their bank. I WAS RIGHT THERE AND THEY COULDVE MADE CALLS to confirm. To make matters worse I ask the guy to increase my limit so I dont have to come back to the bank the following day and make an immediate transfer since already, ONLY TO FIND THAT STANDARD BANK DOES NOT HAVE IMMEDIATE PAYMENT SERVICE. I was told that they will confirm the money and someone will call me. So I ask the guy if I dont get the call do I have to deal with the same story of waiting another 24hr. THE MONEY WAS TRANFERRED INTO MY ACCOUNT FOR A REASON, I CANNOT ACCESS IT DUE TO PROCESSES WHICH IN TURN I NEED TO DRIVE AGAIN WITH MY PETROL AND HOPE SOMEONE CALLED. I'M THINKING OF CHANGING BANK DUE TO LACK OF SERVICE DELIVERY AND ALL THESE PROCESSES THAT DONT MAKE SENSE.
