Firstly, we've never claimed from Surewise in the 3 years we've been with them (1 house, 3 cars). My car was broken into and I've been trying to find out what I'm able to claim for. I was initially told that I could not claim for my valuables but after making numerous calls and queries, was I informed I could in fact claim for a small amount. The only way for me not to pay an excess of R500 for a R550 passenger window, is for me to use their supplier (Grand Mark). I repeatedly called Surewise trying to get feedback as to when Grand Mark would have stock. I finally got informed at 16:30 on Friday (19/07/2013) that their "supplier" will only have my glass a MONTH later on 22/08/2013. I am now forced to use PG Auto Glass on Monday instead of just getting it fixed today before the weekend at R550. This level or service is shocking. I see no reason why we are paying every month and at the soonest opportunity will be moving to a better insurance company.
