I went into Sandton City ABSA branch in February 2013 to pay my traffic fine. I had filled a deposit slip and used my infringement notice number above as reference. The teller who helped me processed it. I made two payments one of R150 and later same day R100. the problem arose when I realised that I am still listed by AARTO as someone who owes them. On the 11th July 2013, I went to Sandton City branch and I was assisted by a male enquiries consultant. He made a copy of my infringement notice, took my contact numbers. I asked him how long it will take them to get back to me, He promised that He will find out what happenned and get back to me later on the 11th July 2013 or 12th July 2013. He did'nt get back to me. ABSA not keeping a promise there!

Why does ABSA process AARTO payments into wrong accounts?
