ABSOLUTELY NO SERVICE OR RESPONSE WHATSOEVER!!

I PLACED A HOMELOAN APPLICATION CLOSER TO THE BEGINNING OF THE MONTH JULY 2013, ITS BEEN ABOUT 10 WORKING DAYS THAT HAVE PAST, & i HAVE SUBMITTED ALL DOCUMENTATION AS PER REQUEST.i HAD TO CALL IN TWICE ALREADY TO INQUIRE, ONLY TO BE TOLD BY CONSULTANT IN CALL CENTR ON MY FIRST CALL, THAT i SHOULD CALL AGAIN THE NEXT DAY TO INQUIRE AS THERE WAS NO INFO ON PROGRESS AVAILABLE.i CALLED YET AGAIN TODAY (19/07/2013) ONLY TO BE TOLD THAT THE APPLICATION WAS ON HOLD SINCE THE 16JULY2013 BECAUSE OF OUTSTANDING DOCUMENTS, IN THE MEANWHILE, i HAD TO WAIT FOR CONSULTANT TO CLARIFY THE DETAILS, ALL @ MY COST & INCONVENIENCE.i EVENTUALLY CANCELLED THE CALL AS i WAS PLACED ON HOLD TWICE.i STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED A COURTESY CALL FROM ANYONE TO EXPLAIN.IN THIS DAY & AGE i BELIEVE i AM STILL ONLY A STATISTIC TO STANDARD BANK AS THEIR SHODDY SERVICE & ATTITUDE CLEARLY DISPLAYS.WHY MUST I FOLLOW UP ON THE PROGRESS, & IS IT NOT FOR STANDARD BANK TO KEEP ME INFORMED & UPDATED AS TO THE STATUS OF APPLICATION.I PRESUME IF I DIDN'T CALL IN, I WOULD PROBABLY STILL BE WAITING INDEFINITELY WITH AN INEXCUSABLE REASON THAT STILL NEVER GETS SEEN TO.
