Pathetic conduct. Wake up. It's the year 2013!!

Please read this. Out-of-the-blue the STB Internet banking site refused to accept my U/N and P/W. After trying 3 times the site locked. The next day I went to the branch, where I was told to speak to "Internet banking". Then, the STB person vanished, eventually reappeared and called the relevant department. After explaining my dilemma and security checks I was transferred to somebody else... after explaining my dilemma and security checks I was transferred to Card division... after explaining my dilemma and security checks I was told that my card has been invalidated by STB because a new one had been embossed on Friday. No email notification, no SMS notification, no phone calls... NOTHING!! It is 17 July today and the lady on the phone told me I would have the new card by end July. Upon my, very relevant question, what I should do until then wrt to EFT's and internet banking, I was told that I must WAIT for the new card. At this point I just lost it... THIS COMPLACENCY AND CUSTOMER NEGLECT IS MIND BOGGLING. WHAT A DISGRACE. STANDARD BANK, WAKE UP, IT IS THE YEAR 2013.
