On Monday 8 July I applied for a credit card and after 3 days got a sms that notified me that my application was unsuccesfull...
I don't know how this is possible as Standard Bank phoned me about a month or three ago to tell me that I was pre-approved for a Gold card with a R20 500 limit and after doing credit vetting over the phone they were more than willing enough to send it to my nearest branch ASAP. I didn't see need for the card then so I said NO at the time.
So they were willing to send me a card then, but when I applied it was refused... Without supplying a reason for the refusal...

Can somebody please explain...?
